Since Trumpkin only 'wins' through cheating (even avoiding military service) he thinks 1) cheating is meritorious 2) honesty is for chumps 3) if somebody beats him (Biden, E. Jean Carroll) that the only way they won was that they cheated even more. I think Biden should hammer on Trumpkin's cheating, (love the book, "Commander in Cheat, about his compulsive golf cheating: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/rick-reilly/commander-in-cheat/9780316528030/?lens=hachette-books) and also emphasize: "He broke it, (infrastructure, safety regulation, economy, employment, covid...) I fixed it."

Great piece. Loser Trump's insecurities over losing follow him like a shadow.

Btw, the excellent UK journalist/writer George Monbiot has a new Guardian piece that describes Trump in terms of "extrinsic" values (vs "intrinsic"). This itself points to the obsessive loser/winner mentality and reminded me a little of George Lakoff's strict/nurturant values distinctions: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/jan/29/donald-trump-americans-us-culture-republican
